Who We Are

The Social Venture Capital Foundation, Inc. (SVCF) was founded by Jeff Schwartz, Chairman of the Board and President. 

The SVCF's Board of Advisors includes leaders from many fields: 

• business and investment banking; 

• civil liberties; 

• collaborative problem solving; 

• corporate and community philanthropy;

• education; 

• environmental protection; 

• health;   

• the Internet, knowledge management, and web system design; 

• job training;

• law; 

• public policy making; 

• publishing; 

• social work and family counseling; and

• transportation.

We come from across the Nation: from California, Missouri, New York, Ohio, and Washington (DC).  We bring our diverse experience,  expertise, and perspectives to our shared commitment to the mission of The Social Venture Capital Foundation.
